2009 Service Schedule

CART prides itself on operating year-round public transportation service, even during inclement weather conditions; however, certain periods necessitate CART to operate on an alternate schedule or not operate at all. The following dates outline those instances.

Additional Services

Football Shuttle

To help alleviate parking congestion on home OU football game days, a shuttle is available from the Lloyd Noble Center and the Westheimer Airport to the football stadium. Cost is $2 round trip from the Lloyd Noble Center and $5 round trip from the airpark.

Air Alert Days

On Clean Air Alert days, CART provides free bus service. The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality determines these days, and announcements will be made through the local media.

Special Events

CART provides service to a few special events during the year. To find out if CART is serving a specific event, please call 325-2278.

OU Finals Schedule

CART will extend hours on some routes to serve students during finals week each semester. Watch for flyers announcing these extended schedules two weeks prior to finals.

Suspension of Service

Hazardous Weather

When snow and ice make road conditions dangerous, the schedule may change. Listen to KGOU FM 106.3 for service changes. CART will continue service as long as conditions are safe.

Any other services changes will be posted in the vehicles if/when they arise.

Lost and Found

Any items left on the buses are turned in to the CART office at the end of each day. Please come to the Transportation Operations Center at 510 E. Chesapeake St. to identify any lost property or call 325-2278 for inquiries.
